About Irene
Irene’s Approach
My work is structured and focused on helping you move out of repetitive conflict patterns and into more effective ways of relating.
We start by slowing things down and stabilizing the interaction so conversations don’t immediately escalate or shut down. From there, we map out the patterns that keep you stuck—what each of you does, how it impacts the other, and how the cycle continues.
Once those patterns are clear, we begin actively shifting them in session. I guide you in practicing new ways of communicating, responding, and regulating in real time, so change isn’t just something you talk about—it’s something you experience and build.
Depending on your needs, we may focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, addressing sexual and intimacy concerns, or working through high-conflict dynamics that have been difficult to manage on your own.
If you’re unsure about the future of the relationship, we can shift into a Discernment process to help you step out of ongoing conflict and make a clear, thoughtful decision about what comes next.
Throughout the process, I take an active role in keeping sessions focused, balanced, and productive—especially when conversations become difficult. The goal is to help you make meaningful changes in how you relate, not just gain insight into the problem.
I can provide therapy to clients in Utah and Nevada and relationship and individual coaching anywhere there is internet.
I am kink aware, LGBTQIA and consensual non-monogamy affirming. Please reach out for a free, 10-minute consultation.
